What makes RTSL so effective?
We use technical, operational, and policy approaches to identify health threats that can be stopped, co-create and test simple solutions, and scale the best solutions worldwide.

Choose the right challenges
Some of the health threats that kill the most people don’t get the attention they deserve. Our team focuses on deadly health threats that are widespread, preventable — and neglected.
Co-create and test simple solutions
Together with our partners, we develop simple and scalable solutions, putting them to the test with health care workers, patients, and others to learn and improve rapidly.
Demonstrate proof of concept
When a prototype is working, we engage more local and global partners to put our solutions to the test and find out whether they can work across different contexts.

Scale up proven solutions
Once solutions have proven to be effective, we support our partners to take them to scale and provide access to as many people as possible. Sometimes that’s within a region or country—and sometimes it’s globally.
Sustain
A sustainable solution is recognized as the new standard—and funded—by governments. In some cases, we may continue our support by monitoring and advocating for effective implementation.
