Dr. Syed Imran Farooq is the Executive Director for Resolve to Save Lives India, where he leads national efforts to strengthen cardiovascular health through strategic collaboration with government, private sector, and civil society partners.
With over two decades of experience across public health leadership, health systems strengthening, and international development, Dr. Imran brings a deep understanding of both grassroots implementation and high-level policy engagement.
Prior to joining RTSL, he served as Chief of Party for USAID’s private sector health engagement initiative in Indonesia with FHI360, where he led multi-sectoral efforts in health financing, capacity building, and digital innovation. His career also includes leadership roles with WHO and other global organizations in South and Southeast Asia.
Dr. Imran holds medical and public health degrees from the University of Pune and the Public Health Foundation of India, as well as a master’s in healthcare and project management. He is widely recognized for his ability to drive impactful, equity-centered health partnerships and programs.
