How adopting 7-1-7 in Uganda helped stop a deadly virus in its tracks

Deploying the 7-1-7 target during two measles outbreaks helped two Uganda districts mobilize the political will and resources necessary to respond effectively. It also helped the districts react more quickly when an even deadlier virus, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, was detected months later—putting an end to the threat just three days after it was reported.
