Temesgen Nigusse joins Resolve to Save Lives as Regional Technical Manager, Epidemic Ready PHC in Sidama Regional state, Ethiopia. This role is embedded with the Regional Health Bureau and is responsible for providing technical assistance in the implementation and monitoring of the ERPHC program.
Previously, Temesgen worked as the Public Health Emergency Management Officer (PHEM), IPC/WASH section head of Public Health Emergency Operating Center at the Regional Sidama Public Health Institute. He also served as deputy head of Aleta Chuko Woreda health office where he prepared the first multi-hazard Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan document.
Temesgen studied Environmental Health Science at Gondar University and Field Epidemiology at Hawassa University. He likes listening to spiritual music, reading the Bible and different books, and taekwondo.
