In January 2025, the Ethiopian government adopted the Ethiopia Health Service Administration and Control Proclamation, which was developed in partnership with Resolve to Save Lives. The Proclamation aims to improve the management and delivery of health services across the country and outlines the responsibilities of health service administrators, establishes guidelines for the operation of health facilities and promotes the overall quality of health care services.
