Naomi Oboyi

Naomi Oboyi joins Resolve to Save Lives as Regional Communications Manager, Africa, bringing over a decade of experience in strategic development communications, media relations, and digital communications.

She has provided communications support for public health programs across different thematic areas, including Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Emerging Infectious Diseases, and Medical Research.

Before joining Resolve to Save Lives, Naomi led communications activities for the US-DoD/PEPFAR-funded Walter Reed Program-Nigeria, where she developed and implemented communications strategies for the U.S Army Medical Research Directorate-Africa, Nigeria/HJFMRI.  She also served as a Digital Communications Officer at MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices and has provided communications consultancy services for development programs in Nigeria.

Naomi also has a background in broadcast and print journalism and worked with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, among others. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass  Communications from the Benue State University, Makurdi, and a master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy.
