Prevent Epidemics provides technical assistance directly or through partners, mobilizes resources to support preparedness and drives political support to address epidemic preparedness gaps. Programmatic interventions include laboratory strengthening, disease surveillance, legal support, rapid response funding and program management/governance.
In Zimbabwe, Prevent Epidemics partners with the Biomedical Research and Training Institute to improve health care worker safety, including via strengthening infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, which keep health care workers and patients safe from avoidable infections.
