Resolve to Save Lives is highlighting the risks of eating too much salt and sharing ways people can cut back.
Most people eat more than TWICE the daily recommendation for salt intake, putting them at increased risk of high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke. An estimated 2.5 million lives could be saved globally each year by eating less salt.
