Reducing heart disease deaths in Indonesia

We hosted a roundtable discussion with officials from Indonesia’s Ministry of Health, academia, civil society, and the Association of Indonesia Local Health Offices, on interventions to improve heart health in Indonesia, including advancing a best-practice policy to eliminate artificial trans fat from the food supply and strengthening hypertension services in primary care.

Our team also visited primary health care centers, where they learned about delivery of hypertension services in Indonesia.
