Salt substitutes can help treat high blood pressure

In a new article published in the American Heart Association’s scientific journal Hypertension, we joined international experts in the call to include salt substitutes in the treatment for high blood pressure. Salt substitutes reduce risk for heart attack and stroke while also adding much-needed potassium to the diet.
