May 23, 2024 (NEW DELHI, INDIA)— Today, Resolve to Save Lives Services Pvt Limited (RTSL India) announced the appointment of Shri C.K. Mishra, former Union Secretary, Government of India to the RTSL India Board of Directors.

Shri C.K. Mishra, a highly distinguished civil servant of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), retired in 2020 following 37 years of public service. As an administrator, policymaker and public health strategist, he held several eminent roles including Union Secretary of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. His experience spans various sectors, from state-level positions in health and energy to engagements with central ministries including textiles and defense. Shri C.K. Mishra’s leadership extended internationally, notably in negotiations for India at key global forums such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties. He spearheaded initiatives including ‘Mission Indradhanush,’ significantly reducing maternal and child mortality rates.
“There are very few organizations working to improve cardiovascular health by focusing on high-impact, evidence-based interventions at the primary healthcare level. I am excited to support the mission and work of Resolve to Save Lives India by serving on the RTSL India Board of Directors,” said Shri Mishra.
